So welcome to my first post at the new blog. This is kind of a soft opening of the new layout and functionality. Once the domain issue is cleared up I’ll make a wide announcement about the brand new look of Brian Bastinelli Photography.
Today’s post is a follow up to one that my friend Bryan Allen made on his blog earlier in the week. Recently we were in Las Vegas for the WPPI conference. On the last day we had just a few hours to get out and do some shooting. This was the first an only time we had an opportunity to do so.
When I saw Bryan’s post I decided that it would be an interesting idea for me doing a post from the same period of time. We walked around together for just about 2 hours. We photographed the same locations and people. What I thought was interesting was that we were together and shooting essentially the same things but of course had a different outcome for each.
That’s why I decided to do this post. Take a look at these images and then take a look at Bryan’s. It is a good way to reinforce the fact that although we often occupy the same space as other people it is the individual who shapes what we see and how we present it.
Have a great day!
