Kayla’s Senior Shoot

Hi everyone-

I shot with Kayla on what was probably one of the more hot and humid days of the year but it didn’t slow us down one bit. We first shot in the studio and then headed out and about to finish up.

We had a fun time and shot a ton of images, check ’em out!

Have a great day!

Leah’s Senior Session

Hi everyone-

Hope you are having a great day! Still working on catching up here at the blog. It’s a slow process but I am determined to get it done.

So I am going to move on to some of the senior shoots that I shot this fall. Hope you enjoy!

The first post is Leah. We had a great time shooting in the studio and around town. Here’s a peak….

Have a great day!

Butte, Montana Day Trip

Hi everyone-

While in Montana this summer my cousin Laura, Bryan Allen and myself took a day trip to Butte to see what we might photograph.

We stopped at the Berkley Pit which is a former open pit copper mine. That was pretty cool to see. Then it was off to town to photograph old buildings and old advertisements painted on them. We had lunch at a very cool cafe that I can’t seem to remember the name of but it was great…. so if you ever get to Butte check it out…lol

After a full day in town we headed home but on the way we stopped at a Ghost Town and old mine. And then hit a few other towns and interesting locations on the trip back to Choteau.

One of which is what I call “The Skull Tree” for obvious reasons. It was pretty cool and just randomly at someone’s house along the road. Uniquely Montana…

Have a great day!

Barry - Great collection of images Brian! Really interesting subjects with equally interesting post-processing!

Next time I’m in Butte I’m staying at the Leggat Hotel… because it’s “Fire Proof”! 🙂

Snowy Day Catch Up…

Hi everyone-

WOW! It has been a long time since I have been able to blog about anything. This was never my intention but the last year has been super busy and has thrown more curve balls then I would have ever imagined.

So while the snow and well sleet right now fall outside I have decided to make an attempt to get caught up on some of the shoots I have done this fall and winter.

But before I do that I wanted to add one more from the summer. While Bryan Allen was out in Montana with me we decided one day to head out and explore the countryside outside of Choteau. During our journey we found a little gem of a junk yard in what was once the town of Gilman.

After obtaining some “loose” Montana permission to shoot we set out to explore and photograph this great find.

Here are some of the many images I shot during the almost two hours we spent there.

Have a great day!
