Hi Everyone-
Hope you all had a great weekend. For the last few weeks I have been doing a little traveling across the west. Specifically, Wyoming and Montana.
This was a family trip and we had a great time. And of course I shot thousands of photographs. Everything from family moments to bucking broncs and anything and everything in between.
Over the next few weeks I will be posting images from this trip in between new client images. I hope you will enjoy them and the stories that will go along with them.
Please feel free to comment on anything that so moves you.
Today’s images were shot on the Blackfeet Nation in northern Montana. For me these images stir thoughts of a era that was without a doubt a much more difficult yet much simpler time.
Imagine living on the high plains, basically working for nothing more than your survival. Following the buffalo where ever it may roam and depending upon it for the majority of your necessities from food to clothing.
The people not only depended on the buffalo but also them selves and the community for everything, which wasn’t much. A much simpler time. A time when family and community were the highest priority…
Have a great day!
