Hi everyone- I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Our’s was very nice. We got to spend a few days with my family and a few with Tonya’s. Not often do we get to see everyone in the same four day off cycle from my job at the fire department. We got to have some […]

Barry Armer - Beautifully simple composition and great use of textures! This image ends up with a lot of depth and great tonality!

Well done!

Steve Schuenke - I agree, love the textures. And love the aesthetic of this shot a whole lot.

Doug Haass - Awesome shot Brian. Love the direction you took on this one. The texture really does it for me.

#579 Happy Thanksgiving

Hi everyone- I hope that everyone has a great Thanksgiving. This is one of my favorite holidays for many reasons. One of which is all of the great food. But most importantly we are spending our day with family. We shouldn’t need a special day to reflect on the many people and things that we […]

Nick - Great colors and light. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

#578 Capital Fleet

Hi everyone- A few months ago I had the opportunity to photograph the front line apparatus of the Harrisburg Bureau of Fire in front of the Pennsylvania Capital Building. We shot on a beautiful early fall Sunday. The weather was perfect and we were not interrupted by any calls. After shooting the entire fleet together […]

iceman4350 - Awesome Job Brian!
My Vote would have to be the colored version, the colors are amazing!

December 2, 2009 - 2:54 PM

Barry Armer - Go red or go home! 🙂

December 1, 2009 - 2:46 PM

Bryan Allen - It's the color for me too. Red is just too powerful in general and iconic in this context!

November 25, 2009 - 6:17 PM

Steve Schuenke - Color for me too. Nice job.

November 25, 2009 - 1:02 PM

Larry - Firetrucks are red! I vote for the color shot. Great job.

November 25, 2009 - 12:16 PM

Gwendolyn - I like them both, but I think I like the color better. There isn't so much color that it distracts you from the fire trucks. Great composition.

November 25, 2009 - 9:46 AM

Woody - Brian,

I like the look of both but I am going to go with the color photo as my favorite.

November 25, 2009 - 4:55 AM

Doug Haass - They both look good, but I think I'm leaning towards the B&W version more. It seems more natural to me for some reason or another. Nice job either way you go.

#576 Cutie Pie

Hi everyone- Last night we went to the mall to pick up Cree’s Christmas dress. We decided to walk around a little bit and show Cree where Santa will sitting. Well much to our surprise and even more to Cree’s Santa was already there. When Tonya said oh look he’s here Cree said “HE”S HERE!?!” […]

Bryan Allen - Awesome shots BB. Love the point of view and perspective. Love the back story. So funny how some kids love Santa and some are scared to death of him. I suspect this will be the breakthrough year for you guys!

November 19, 2009 - 5:13 AM

Woody - She is a cutie Brian. I was looking at your blog the other day and can't believe how big she has gotten. Time does fly by!

November 18, 2009 - 6:33 PM

Doug Haass - Great job capturing such wonderful expressions Brian.
